For my first day at cadets I went to squadron 730 at 7pm to meet pilot officer Nick Pidwell. We spoke to him about why I wanted to join cadets and what I thought about my future. I then went outside and started to learn drill and the different manoeuvres you have to make. Later in the evening, we did a team activity where we had to look at a picture of some pipes for 15 seconds, memorise it, then tell our team how to build it, our team won! We then went back to the main room and did a drill to end the session, I accidentally saluted while I was in civilian clothes (you’re not supposed to do that) but luckily no one noticed, few…..!
