Today, we filledĀ little plastic bags with wet cotton wool and placed a bean seed inside. The plastic bag help the bean sprout as it creates extra humidity. We can start to germinate our own beans in a bag. I also read to some of the children and helped them make caterpillars out of tights (grass seed and mud). When the grass grows, it will look like a hairy caterpillar. We also planted flowers and made fences around the flower bed, to stop people from stepping on them. Finally, we made nettle tea and potato salad, with edible wild flowers (Yummy).
